Boys Volleyball Roundup 11-1-07: Warriors march to league finals
Comments 0 | Recommend 0APPLE VALLEY — Two games from being eliminated Thursday night, the Apple Valley Christian boys volleyball team rallied to defeat Redlands Adventist in the second round of the Inland Coast League playoffs, 21-25, 25-14, 25-19 and 25-15.
Steven Messner had 19 assists, and Allen Thompson posted 16 assists and 20 kills. Evan Frawley finished with 10 kills and 10 blocks.
Drew Patag, James Chapdaline and Bryce Ely each tallied 12 digs.
The Warriors (15-2) will play the winner of La Sierra and Woodcrest Christian on Saturday at 8 p.m. at La Sierra University for the championship.
