Cross Country Roundup 10-19-07

PATRIOTS TAKE FOURTH: At Walnut, Hesperia Christian’s girls finished fourth out of 18 teams in the Division IV and V race at the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational.

The Patriots placed four girls in the top 30: Jacinda Fernandez, 18th (22:07); Kassie Martinez, 27th (22:34); Tricia Perrine, 29th (22:37) and Kaitlyn Sample, 30th (22:47).

The Patriots’ boys finished 12th out of 21 teams. Nate Ellis took 35th (18:53), Chris Maerzluft placed 41st (19:04) and Jamie Fischer finished 47th (19:14).

SINGERY SHINES: At Walnut, Apple Valley Christian’s Sam Singery finished eighth in the Division IV and V boys race at the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational.

Singery finished in 17 minutes, 16 seconds.
