APPLE VALLEY CHRISTIAN 3, LA SIERRA ACADEMY 2: At Riverside, the Warriors took third place in the Inland Coast League postseason tournament at La Sierra University by beating the Knights in five sets 27-25, 18-25, 25-20, 19-25 and 15-7.
Tyler Mason had 11 kills and four aces for AVC (10-7). Matt Messner added 12 assists; Drew Patag had eight kills and 14 digs; Matt Kasbon finished with eight kills; and Bryce Ely contributed 17 digs.
