Comments 0 | Recommend 0TARVER NAMED MVP OF MRL: Serrano senior Kauren Tarver began the season as Serrano’s No. 1 singles player, but by the end of the season had transitioned into the Mojave River League doubles champion with partner Ashley Smaldone.
Due to her efforts, Tarver was voted MVP by the league’s coaches. Ten other athletes made the MRL first team, which was filled out by four from Sultana, three from Serrano and three from Hesperia. Five additional players were named honorable mention.
